Remember those stick-on eyes I blogged about a while ago? Sophie & I found an awesome new use for them:

Anthropomorphize your upside-down chin today! 32 other chins await you in my Flickr set. Chin chin, old chap!

Eye eye, captain
Saturday, May 26, 2007

So as I've moved desks/jobs at Mind Candy of late, I've pimped up my iMac suitably with loads of little eyes - these cost £1 for a big bag of 'em from Paperchase.

I love Paperchase. I love stationery, it's like I'm a sweaty guy in a dodgy porn shop or something. Phwoar, look at the gsm on that. Etc.

The good thing about these googly eyes and stuff like 'em (I saw some ace face-part stickers on Boing Boing the other day, I think) is that you can anthropomorphise practically anything. Here's Flatmate Shah's back turned into a horrifying disembodied face:

Right, what else was I meaning to blog about? Ah, yes - finally got around to applying for Hack Day UK, where I was forced to confess that I essentially know sod-all about tech stuff, and instead can bring only an appetite for all-night wakefulness and possibly a jar of sequins. Nu-candy MJ and I have an awesome if somewhat cheaty idea, though, so I hope I get a place!

More from me once I've consulted my Todoist.
