One of my favourite photo-sets on Flickr is 50 People See, where Neil Kandalgaonkar blends 50 photos from the Flickr community tagged with the same word to make beautiful, impressionist images. This is 50 people see the Eiffel Tower:
So I ripped off this idea to average out 50 of my friend Laura's self-portraits, with the following result:
The trademark glasses are still much in evidence, along with a weirdly prominent doormat. Not sure if there was a better merging technique in Photoshop than multiple layers in Normal mode at 5% opacity, but it seems to have worked OK at least...
