Having completed Item 18 on my 101 things list (get a scanner/printer jobby) I decided to celebrate by scanning in my face. And holy crap it looks awesome!
In search of new experiences (read: Sophie was doing it, and it looked fun, and it was on The List, so I thought I may as well) I cut off loads of my hair. It was exciting. There is some minor tuftage, but I'm sure things will be fine? It is only hair, after all.
Also, hair monster:
Also, I went to the Shunt Lounge with a few friends last night for birthday drinks. It was very good fun, and it truly is the most awesome bar ever invented, although next time I go along I really ought to check out "the cool stuff" rather than just sitting about drinking wine, even if it was whilst sitting in a shed, within big vaults, under a train station. Action shot:
Finally, if anybody wants a bargain copy of Microsoft Expression Web (although a bit of money would be nice!) then let me know and I'll send it your way. Or maybe I could even give it to you in person at the Perplex City Part-ay this Saturday? (More photos of all this hullabloo on Flickr.)
Yes, somehow the online, bedroom-rocker fraternity has seen fit to hold not one, but two "make a record in 28 days" challenges in February. Of course, if you think about it, it's all the more convenient in a two-birds-in-one-stone sort of fashion. Anyway, I'm very excited as it should let me tick a few things off the 101 things list, namely 51, 54, 55 and 56. Top trumps!
Also, check out Best Of Bootie 2006, in particular You're The One That I Want In The Next Episode (in the bonus tracks on the left) - truly a thing of beauty.
So, I've decided to embark on a "101 things in 1001 days" meta-project. The mission is simple - set yourself 101 things to do (easy, difficult, whatever) and give yourself 1001 days to complete them all. It's like the noughties version of New Year's Resolutions, I guess.
I've got until October 12th, 2009, and you can view my list and monitor my progress here. It's also linked in the sidebar. Naturally, I'll be blogging my acheivements (or lack of) for the next 101 days right here, under the 101 things tag.
Finally, you'll notice that some of the tasks involve watching films, reading books, and other such consumptive things. If you have any tips or reccomendations for any of the tasks, post a comment, won'tcha?
