Bad decisions
Sunday, October 28, 2007

There was a recent news story about the death of Delhi's deputy mayor at the hands paws of a troop of Rhesus monkeys. I was concerned, however, to note the government's response to the monkeys that are plaguing the city:

One approach has been to train bands of larger, more ferocious langur monkeys to go after the smaller groups of Rhesus macaques.
It takes a special kind of mind (often referred to as "a committee") to imagine the answer to your monkey plague might lie in more monkeys, larger monkeys, and more ferocious monkeys. I for one welcome Delhi's new langur overlords.

On a related note, behold the BAD DECISION DINOSAUR! (click to embiggenate)
