The Hunt For Satoshi Continues...
Sunday, January 21, 2007

For those of you reading who aren't quite up to speed, one of Perplex City's puzzle cards (#256, in fact) is called Billion To One. It features a photograph of an man standing in an unknown location, with Japanese text running down the left hand side that reads: "FIND ME." Enquiring via SMS for a hint reveals that the gentleman's name is Satoshi... and those are pretty much the only clues to be had.

With that in mind, players have created the Find Satoshi site (and a Billion2One site, too) and are now busy pimping it about the blogosphere. It got picked up by the fantastic Neatorama the other day and has been generating some interest since, so I'm looking forward to seeing this scheme cross the blinking tipping point via the wisdom of crowds (or something like that) and turning those silvers into points... :o)
